NOVICA — Alpaca Blend Ruana Poncho | Handmade in Peru, Andean geometric pattern · Sz OS
✓ Free shipping included on every order
Woven in the Andes, worn anywhere. Some textiles carry a place with them — this is one of them.
NOVICA has long worked with independent artisans across the developing world, connecting their craft to a global audience without erasing the hands behind it. This ruana is the product of that ethos: made in Peru using techniques rooted in Andean textile tradition, where geometric pattern-work is not decoration but language.
A 50% alpaca, 50% acrylic open-front poncho in a ground of deep black, intersected by traditional geometric stripes in terracotta red and warm beige. The drape is soft and flowing, the weight light enough for three seasons yet substantial enough to earn its keep. One size, open construction with no closures — simply wrap, layer, and move. Condition is excellent, with no visible damage or signs of wear.
Length: ~30–32″ / 76–81cm | Width (open): ~50–52″ / 127–132cm
Choosing this preloved piece saved ~5,000 liters of water and avoided ~22 kg of CO₂.
Draped over a simple black turtleneck and wide-leg trousers for something considered. Thrown over a linen dress at the end of a warm evening. This piece does not demand attention — it simply holds it. If it resonates, it is ready for the next chapter.
