Our Commitment

OUR CIRCULARITY COMMITMENT
Curuva · June 2026

At Curuva, we believe dressing well and caring for the planet are the
same decision. Fashion's greatest waste is a garment that is never
worn — whether it sits unsold or forgotten in a closet. Our model
exists to keep clothing that already exists in use, and to avoid the
impact of manufacturing something new.

WHAT WE DO TODAY
- We sell preloved, vintage, and new, unworn luxury pieces. Every item
already exists — by finding it a wearer, we keep it in use and avoid
triggering the production of a new garment.
- We authenticate and assess each item so it can be worn and trusted
  for years to come.
- We publish the estimated environmental impact saved — water, CO₂,
and energy — on our listings, so the value of choosing an existing
piece over a newly made one is visible, not assumed.

WHAT WE COMMIT TO
- Keep our resale business circular: only preloved, vintage, or new
and unworn pieces that already exist, so each sale keeps a garment
in use and avoids new production.
- Continue to measure and publicly share the environmental impact
  saved on every listing.
- Launch a take-back program by 2028 that lets our customers return
garments for resale or responsible recycling, giving them a second
  life.
- When we produce our own pieces (Curuva Original), design them for
circularity: responsible materials, built to last, repairable and
  recyclable.
- Transition to reusable packaging by June 2027.

This is how we live our promise: Wear Less. Mean More.
We review and update these commitments each year.
